Specialised Funeral Care for Children & Young People

Fact Sheets

Expecting or experiencing the death of a child, adolescent or young adult can be a heartbreaking experience. There’s so many things to think about and you may feel overwhelmed and have no idea where to start.

Below you will find a number of fact sheets, written in simple, easy to understand language, to help you “know what you need to know”. They are designed to help you start to understand all the processes involved; all the things you need to consider and provide answers to questions you didn’t know you had.

If you still have questions, please reach out to us. We will gently and compassionately answer any questions – there are no silly questions and there are no questions that you cannot ask us.

We are here to walk beside you and to take as much stress out of the situation as possible.

Please note: When we refer to “your child” we mean the child in your world, not necessarily a child you have birthed or adopted; except when we mention specific relationships eg grandchild.
